Question

(1) Is doing Talqeen (i.e. reciting certain verses after burial) upon the grave established from the Quran and Sunnah? If it is then please provide reference. (2) Also, has it been mentioned in Ahadith that one should forget about whatever Waswasa (satanic whispers) come into his heart? (3) Also, is Allah omnipresent?

Answer 1

The questioner should recite “یا لطیف، یا ودود” 1001 times and blow it on water and on sugar and feed them to his parents, and also supplicate for them. This will be of benefit, Insha Allah.

(1) After burial, it is mustahab to stand at the head of the grave and recite from the beginning of Sura-al-Baqara until “مفلحون”, and then at the foot of the grave and recite from “آمن الرسول” until the end of Sura-al-Baqara. This has been established in Ahadith.
(2) Yes, this is an authentic narration, and has been narrated in many books of Ahadith.
(3) Allah is indeed omnipresent, which is a quality specific to him. However, his existence is not like that of mankind, which can be perceived by everyone.
