I am currently running a shop in partnership as a working partner, but my current income is not enough to fulfill my family basic expenses, and I am in debt of around 5 lakhs from past 3 years, which not getting cleared. Am I eligible for taking zakat money from my friends and family for clearing my debt amount? I don’t have any gold or property under my possession and my family expenses are solely dependent on.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

In the question mentioned above, you can take zakah money to pay off your debt. However, it is not correct to take zakah from one's Usul and Furu’ (one’s progeny and ancestors) and from one's wife.
