In our company, Provident Fund is deducted from every worker’s salary. The company invests this amount and we have no access to it. Will Zakat be due on this amount? If it is, then how will I pay 17 years of Zakat? I do not have a record of this amount.

Upon retirement, when the questioner will receive the money deducted from his salary as Provident Fund, it will only be mandatory upon him to pay Zakat of his entire wealth for that year, and not for the previous years. However, if he wants to pay Zakat for the previous years, he may do so if it pleases him.
And Allah knows best.
