Surah Al-Aadiyat with English and Urdu translation
Summary of Surah Al-‘Aadiyat
Surah Al-Adiyat is Makki, and it has 11 verses, and three important topics are described in this Surah:
By swearing by the horses of Mujahideen, it was said that man is very ungrateful, and his actions are a witness to his ungratefulness. The horse proves loyal to its master, wading through a shower of arrows and leaping swords to please him. But oh man, despite being the best of creatures, he is unfaithful to his real owner.
It has been said that the nature of man is that he is very strict in his love of wealth; if he has one valley of gold, he looks for another, and if he has another, he looks for a third, and his mouth is filled with nothing but dust can fill it.
Man has been encouraged to do good deeds that will benefit him when he is brought to account, and the secrets that lie in the breasts of the servants will be revealed.
