Summary of Surah Al-Balad
Surah Al-Balad; At the beginning of the Surah, Makkah, in which the Prophet, peace be upon him, resided, the stages of hardship and sufferings that man goes through by swearing by his father and his children have been mentioned. There is hardship in taking the path of good, and there is also hardship in taking the path of evil, but the difference is that there is reward and reward for those who work hard in the path of goodness, while those who work hard in the path of evil. He will be punished instead of rewarded. Regarding man’s stubbornness and the crime of preventing him from the path of Allah, he said, “Whoever says, ‘I have invested a lot of wealth,’ does he not know that someone is watching him, then Allah mentions His rewards to man and man. It has been encouraged to serve the people and what is the end of the surah on the division of good and bad.
